Greg Townsend has over 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership, analytics, innovation, and improvement. His areas of specialty include analytics, data science, business Intelligence, performance improvement, and operations. He developed his skills through the management of improvement (financial and clinical) by leveraging data and analytics in direct patient care, insurance, and payer/provider organizations.

Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
I held leadership roles in AMCs and Provider organizations, leading clinical and financial turnarounds through the use of data and analytics. This led me to specialize in the development of D&A organizations that focus on high value deliverables.
What is one of your guiding leadership principles?
I am a servant leader and look to develop the leadership skills within my teams.
How do you measure success as a leader?
I measure success by the value we create in the pursuit of org-strategic goals.
