Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

I've always been interested in data and innovation. In my first role at CHS, I led the SAP integration, security, development and basis teams.

A new role was created at CHS to lead the enterprise information management capabilities, and I moved to that new role. Since then, I've partnered with groups throughout CHS to stand up new innovation capabilities at CHS, including RPA, drones, AV and our new AI CoE.

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

My guiding leadership principle is servant leadership.

What is the greatest challenge your particular C-level role is facing today, and how are you addressing it?

The greatest challenge is data integrity to enable our analytics and AI capabilities. We've focused on data accountability, introduced comprehensive data platforms and communicated the critical importance of data integrity.

What is the key to success for someone just starting out in your C-level role?

The key to success is to build relationships throughout the organization and generate tangible value to the organization.

How do you measure success as a leader?

I measure success through measurable, positive impact throughout the organization, employee retention and engagement.

What is the value of being a member of the Evanta community?

Evanta provides value by helping me build new relationships, while engaging with others on common problems and opportunities.
