Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
I started as a programmer with a consulting firm and took a similar role at Johns Manville in 1992. I spent 10 years within the IT group before assignments in two of our business units focused on operational excellence. The IT and business experience enabled me to become CIO in 2008. The time spent within the business units was very beneficial and rewarding.
