Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.

In the beginning of my career, I developed years of experience building software for financial institutions, where I was required to deliver solutions that are secure-by-design. As the industry evolved with an increasingly complex threat landscape, my focus area shifted to security which led to my current role.
 

What is one of your guiding leadership principles?

Lead by example.
 

With disruption being a key theme of recent years, where do you see the CISO role going in the next 1-2 years?

The role will have expanding influence that is closely aligned with C-level executives and the board of directors.
 

What advice would you give to someone just starting out as a CISO?

Ignore the noise, and focus on the target. Take your peer group with you on your journey.

I love to travel, my inquisitive mind led me to technology, and I speak two languages.
