Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
After 17 years with Ericsson, working in a number of different leadership roles in and outside of security, it was time for a change. So when SEB became an option, I decided to try something new.
What is one of your guiding leadership principles?
Create a work environment that is diverse and safe for the team to speak their minds, while at the same time delivering value to the business and our customers.
With disruption being a key theme of the past few years, where do you see your role as a CISO going in the next 1-2 years?
Regulatory pressures and the threat landscape will grow and become more complex. Automation will be a key driving factor to keep up.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the role as a CISO?
Be yourself and don’t pretend to know everything. Be curious and deliver on agreed objectives - if the agreed objectives turn out to be wrong, then dare to question and change them.
Tell us 3 fun facts about yourself.
- I have lived in 6 countries, and I travel to some countries most people never get to.
- I love cycling and working in the forest.
- I believe I am a good cook; my kids agree most of the time.
