Give us a brief overview of the path that led to your current role.
I started my career in Information Technology, where I developed expertise on a wide array of technologies, led large technical teams and complex projects. Years later, I transitioned to cybersecurity and successfully secured complex, human-centric, and constantly evolving environments.
What is one of your guiding leadership principles?
As a cybersecurity leader, I prioritize my team's growth and development by encouraging them to attend conferences, training sessions, and research new ways to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities.
With disruption being a key theme of the past few years, where do you see your role as a CISO going in the next 1-2 years?
Maintaining a productive and engaged security team is of utmost importance, given that trained security professionals are becoming increasingly difficult to recruit and retain.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the role as a CISO?
It is essential to understand the business and meet with leaders from various departments to learn about their priorities and concerns. Identify key initiatives that will provide the most benefit to the company's security posture.

I have a passion for traveling and feel fortunate to have visited many countries across the globe. Alongside traveling, I also enjoy playing the piano and dedicating a significant amount of time to fitness activities.
