With the cost of living at an all-time high and organisations and economic markets facing turmoil, it should come as no surprise that job and financial security have risen to the top of the employee priority list. Matching competitors’ pay might not be an option for many organisations that are also financially vulnerable. At the same time, it seems as though the turmoil of the past few years has caused employees to reevaluate what they expect from employers when it comes to how they experience their working lives.
