Generative AI solutions like ChatGPT are destined to change the nature of the workforce, and especially the HR function. In fact, no other technology has had a faster general uptake across organizations than generative AI, and many business units continue to experiment with and deploy AI tools.
While other functions may be fast to embrace AI, Gartner research shows there has been a more gradual increase in interest in deploying AI throughout the HR function over recent years, particularly in recruiting. Applications of AI in other HR use cases have been slower to emerge. With the landscape changing so quickly, what steps should CHROs be taking now to prepare for broader implementation of AI and the effects it will have on the organization?
Join your peers to discuss best practices for adopting and implementing AI solutions for HR, both now and in the future.
Topic 1: Responding to mainstream AI in the short-term
What applications of AI, both within HR and across your organization, are you seeing implemented right now?
How are you thinking about the implications of AI in terms of ethics, risk, bias, workforce etc. What concerns you most at this point?
How are you remaining curious and still preparing to embrace the technology despite these risks? How are you educating yourself on the emerging capabilities?
Are you getting demand from employees to deploy or use AI sooner than the business is ready to support?
Topic 2: Strategically deploying AI solutions for the long-term
What conversations are you having with your CIO/CTO partners now regarding future AI applications in HR? What is your timeline to deployment?
In which parts of the HR function are you planning to deploy AI solutions in the next 1-3 years?
What about the people aspect? How will you keep the workforce informed and engaged as you incorporate more AI into their daily work?
How will you equip your employees to adapt to changes to their roles and stay open-minded to these technology advancements?
