Rethinking Cybersecurity for an Unpredictable World
CIOs must navigate uncertainty as a constant, balancing heightened geopolitical risks with increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, all while maintaining business performance. A modern cybersecurity approach enables the business to sustain operations, protect revenue, and maintain stakeholder trust, even when disruptions occur. This demands a shift in how security is positioned: not as a standalone IT function, but as a strategic business enabler aligned to operational continuity and enterprise risk.
Agentic AI as a Driver of Enterprise Transformation and Value Creation
For forward-looking CIOs, agentic AI is not just another technology trend; it’s a catalyst for transforming how work gets done and how value is created across the enterprise. This shift is ultimately about driving measurable ROI. CIOs must ensure AI investments move beyond pilots to deliver real business outcomes, whether through cost reduction, operational efficiency, or new revenue streams. Achieving this requires strong architectural foundations, trusted data, and clear governance to enable AI agents to operate effectively and at scale.
Evolving the IT Operating Model for Enterprise Value
Technology now underpins every part of the business, putting pressure on CIOs to rethink operating models to keep pace with AI disruption, distributed ownership, and fast-changing demands. This means aligning people, platforms, and processes directly to business priorities, enabling shared ownership between IT and the business, improving coordination, and ensuring technology investments deliver clear, measurable outcomes. A modern IT operating model allows organisations to adapt quickly, maximise value, and compete at speed in a technology-driven world.
